This week’s Throwback Thursday works on so many levels! The song is called December and it’s the first day of December! Also…ah….well I guess it only works on one level. But what a level! Enjoy kicking off your seasonal celebration and/or depression!

Someone referenced this song the other day in a conversation and after 3 straight minutes of laughing I thought “that’s gonna be Throwback Thursday this week”. And that is the extent of the effort I put into this site. Enjoy!
This is a photo of the baby from Nirvana’s cover of the album Nevermind all growed up. His name is Spencer Elden and in case no one recognizes him from his iconic album cover, he made sure he had “Nevermind” tattooed across his chest. That way he can talk about how he is the baby on the cover anytime he is topless, which I assume is most of the time. I mean, look at him. Am I little upset he didn’t go completely naked to really capture the true essence of the original cover? Sure, but I mean, pools are cold and I don’t think Spencer wanted to show that he became a man everywhere but in his nether region if you catch my drift…I’m talking about his penis and how cold water would make it look like a baby dick. Okay?
What do you do when you make one of the most iconic music videos of all time but nearly 20 years later no one has honored that video by making a parody? Well, if you are Blink 182, you do it your goddamn self! That’s right, gone are the days of poking fun at boy bands, now it’s time to take on the ultimate challenge…themselves. Now some people will say that Blink is simply re-hashing old Nostalgic feeling to put themselves in the conversation again even though their best music may be behind them.
