5 Great NES Themes You Forgot About

I love 8-bit music. Sometimes I feel like I enjoy it more than regular music. If I had the choice of listening to the Super Mario 3 music or the new Justin Timberlake album…I would probably choose JT, but Mario 3 wouldn’t be behind by much. Here are 5 great themes that you may have forgotten about. DOUBLE DRAGON 2: The Revenge – Shadow Boss Theme TMNT 2: The Arcade Game – Technodrome Stage SUPER DODGE BALL – Doppleganger Match SNOW BROS – Stage 1 Theme RIVER CITY RANSOM – Boss Battle

Nike Promises Back To The Future II Power Lacing Air MAGs Later This Year

With nerds world wide holding a movie and it’s fictional creations to a promise that they never made, the world waits with baited breath to see what predictions for 2015 Back to the Future II actually got right. While many predictions the movie made have actually come true (more on that in a future…or should I say Back to the Future? post), all anyone really gives a shit about is Nike Self-Lacing Shoes and Hoverboards. Well, it looks like Nike has held up its end of the bargain by promising Back To The Future II self-lacing Air MAGS later this year. I’m guessing it will happen some time around October 21st… Your move Mattel, time to get us some hoverboards! My suggestion, buy them from these guys and paint them pink.

Let’s Get Dangerous: Darkwing Duck

One of my all-time favourites from Disney Afternoons, Darkwing Duck was actually as spin-off of DuckTales. Apparently Launchpad McQuack couldn’t take anymore of Scrooge McDuck’s crap so he got out of Dodge and starting fighting crime with Drake Mallard AKA Darkwing Duck. I always thought Drake Mallard was one of the most original and clever names Disney had come up with but apparently I was wrong. For you see, Drake Mallard and is actually a parody of Kent Allard AKA The Shadow. Is your mind blown? No? That’s fair, it wasn’t that big of a shock. I can’t believe this show only ran from 1991-1992! It seemed like it was way longer. Granted, over that two year run they did make 3 seasons and 91 episodes so that might have something to do with it. While Darkwing Duck was fun and gave you laughs (as most Disney cartoons did), I really feel it was underrated for it’s superhero storylines. While the show was full of jokes, it would at times really grab you with multi-episode …

Real Life Peter Griffin Goes to NYC Comic Con

Well he’s not really Peter Griffin but rather a person who looks and does a pretty good impersonation of the iconic cartoon character. His actual name is Robert Franzese and he seems like a funny and lovable guy. I can only hope he goes home to the “real life” version of Lois Griffin because that would be pretty hot. Check out the short video below to see more of Real Peter Griffin.
